I wanted to create a place to put picture stories. I got the idea for a picture story on boat shoes when, while sitting on his boat, my friend Ed gave me a new pair. They were the wrong size for him and just right for me. After returning home with “the shoes” on my feet, I started a journal so I could share the shoes’ new adventure with Ed.

We went to this place where there were a lot of dark stiff people. some with their heads off, most were naked. this one guy looked like he needed me to walk off the stand, so i offered to help - but he just shrugged his shoulder.
